First came a show in London followed by Berlin. Now, Italian luxury fashion brand Bottega Veneta is crossing the Atlantic to the U.S., and to Detroit specifically, for its third all new-format show: Salon 03. The much-anticipated star-studded show showcased the Spring 2022 collection inside the famous Michigan Theater in downtown Detroit.

Detroit put the world on wheels and birthed techno and followers of the luxury fashion brand note that Bottega Veneta’s creative director Daniel Lee has a love of fast cars and electronic music.

Earlier this year Bottega Veneta surprised the fashion world when it removed all of its social media accounts without explanation – to explore alternative ways to engage with its audience and customers.

This move was made by 35-year-old creative director Daniel Lee who took the reins of Bottega Veneta in 2018, making him the youngest-ever leader of the brand. Named ‘fashion’s new wonder boy’ by Harper’s Bazaar, Lee swept the 2019 British Fashion Awards after his first collection at Bottega Veneta.
